Review: Suwon Man’s Spa in Bangkok, Thailand

Suwon Man’s Spa is an adult-oriented facility for men to relax and unwind. Located just off of Sukhumvit Soi 16 near Benchakitti Park, Suwon offers luxury surroundings and spectacular service. It’s a place where you can relax, drink, eat and spend time with some amazingly sexy Thai women all for a very fair price.

The city of Suwon is of course in South Korea. Suwon Man’s Spa is in the middle of Bangkok. Still the name is fitting since this place is quite reminiscent of a high end Korean men’s spa. I have been to both Suwon and Bangkok. I have never found a place like Suwon Man’s Spa in either city.

Bangkok is of course home to countless adult oriented businesses ranging from go go bars to massage parlors. In recent years there has been a rise in more grand facilities. The old hole in the wall shops are still around. But opulent facilities are clearly making their mark.

Suwon is a magnificent venue with a more middle of the road cost. The fabulous surroundings and hot twenty-something special service ladies might make you expect an outrageous price tag. In fact the rates here are some of the most reasonable around. Especially when you consider all that goes into operating a place like this.

A men’s spa in Bangkok

At first glance the naming of this shop might conjure up images of a bath house in the west. This is nothing like that. Suwon Man’s Spa is based on the sexy sauna model found across various parts of Asia. I have written about these kinds of places extensively. One reason for that is they are unique and interesting. Another is that I personally find them to be quite good.

Essentially this is a spa where men can relax and have a good time. Inside you can find pools, showers, lounge chairs, food, sauna facilities, and perhaps most importantly a team of beautiful women for service.

The special service women are in their own area, away from the peace and quite of the lounge. They offer full service massages in large rooms with massage tables and big bath tubs. It’s truly one of the nicest setups I have ever seen anywhere in Thailand.

Because it’s all so new and elaborate, it even rivals some of the facilities seen in Korean Anma and Macau Saunas! Everything here is shiny, fresh, and spotless. You can tell a huge effort and investment was made to put this place together.

What’s on offer

As a sauna you can enter Suwon by paying a general entrance fee. At the moment that costs 3000 Baht ($92 USD). Entrance includes use of the sauna facilities along with a 50 minute massage and 40 minute “special” session with one of the lovely ladies in a private room.

All of the standard service like genuine massage and sauna are all good. The full service massage is even better. Although they don’t display the lineup of women online you can rest assured that they employ some real beauties here. They tend to match up with the Asian standard of beauty.

The therapeutic massages are done by older and more homely looking women. Though these women are thorough, well trained, and just as friendly as you would expect in Thailand. In this I am truly reminded of some Korean places like the previously reviewed Jinju Spa in Seoul.

Tipping is not required here. In my experience it is not requested either. The only added expense on top of the entrance fee would come from purchase of food or beer in the lounge. That is all surprisingly tasty and the service level remains good throughout the entire building.

Service, staff, and summary

I can honestly say that Suwon Man’s Spa is the most interesting development in Bangkok’s adult entertainment scene in years. Frankly I never imagined that this sort of high-end luxury spa would emerge right in the heart of the city. But I am definitely glad it did!

This place offers a real respite from the heat, noise, and traffic of the town. You step through the doors and enter a world of total serenity. The staff is all very attentive too, which makes for a truly pleasant experience.

The “special service” girls also deserve special note. They’ve collected some real lookers here, all in their early twenties. They are a real service oriented bunch too. At Suwon a lot of these women will go the extra mile with things like a head to toe cat bath. That’s not always something you expect from such pretty gals in this day and age.

Suwon Man’s Spa is a novel business based on an already strong model. There is a reason this sort of shop is popular throughout Asia. The biggest surprise is that it is only now appearing in a city like Bangkok.

I am personally very pleased to see this sort of business emerge in Thailand’s capital city. It’s a real treat for a long time observer like me. So I don’t hesitate in giving Suwon Man’s Spa a solid five stars.
