Juicy Lucy is one of a growing number of gentlemen’s clubs in Pattaya. I have been reporting on these unique clubs and the related blowjob bar model for over a decade. What was once a niche has now become a trend.
Back when a small group of gentlemen’s clubs opened on Soi Bongkot 8, I mentioned the rise in the model. In 2018, when several more similar shops opened, I asked if there weren’t already too many of these bars in Pattaya.

But these kinds of places kept opening. Some were so good that they proved my theory about “too many bars” wrong in practice. On the other hand some of the existing bars closed up shop.
Still more gentlemen’s clubs came along. While I do enjoy the laid back open floor model they provide I have to be honest and say that some are much better than others. I have only been to Juicy Lucy once. But that may have been more than enough.
What is a Pattaya Gentlemen’s Club?
For those unaware, Pattaya is home to its own type of “gentlemen’s club”. These are closed-door bars that have little in common with either the posh gentlemen’s clubs of England or the American strip club.
Pattaya’s gentlemen’s clubs tend to be private places with locking doors. Customers ring a bell for entry. Inside they find a bar with a team of ladies and some semi-private seating areas. The ladies are often scantly clad and ready to offer up their mouths and other action for relatively low prices.

The best of these clubs have dozens of women who are not shy in the least. So it is sometimes possible to see a head bobbing up and down on the other side of the bar. Meanwhile curtains are pulled around more discreet seating areas where other guys and gals are getting busy.
Of course there are usually some totally private rooms available upstairs. Those are used more for full service by the more modest in a way that is reminiscent of the short time knocking shops on Soi 6.
Juicy Lucy on Soi Bongkoch 8
Juicy Lucy is located on the opposite side of the street of pioneering shops like the previously-reviewed Pirate’s and Club 4.
The place is easy to find since the entrance stands out from the single color Soviet-ish block buildings. Inside the place is large and dark. There is a bar along the right side and various seating around the rest of the floor space.

Admittedly I have only visited this bar once. But when I did it was a rather sad sight. There may have been five or six bar girls sitting around. One stared sadly into a phone screen. Another ate green mangos.
I watched an Asian guy come inside. He looked around and then slowly walked up to the bar. With an unsureness in his voice, he ordered a drink. After a few sips, he looked around again and then asked for his bill. The bartender said he had barely touched his drink. He replied “no problem” then paid his tab and left.
Summary
I tried to stay in the bar for a while to see if the atmosphere would change at all. I thought maybe some key players were upstairs or something. Nothing ever changed. Even when I called one of the available women over and offered her a lady drink.
I hate to disparage anyone. Especially women who are putting in work just to make a living. I admit that the few girls I talked to at Juicy Lucy were friendly once I approached them. But the overall scene was simply dire.
I guess the handful of gals inside would be willing to entertain. But you might not know it from a glance around. It just seemed like a depressing place to be with people on staff who were just waiting to go home.
No one jumped up to welcome me in. Nor did anyone say much when I left. For sure no one came over to give me one of those world famous “hand shakes” through my fly either. It was all sort of sullen.
Did I visit at a bad time? That’s difficult to say. I can only call it like I see it. After I paid my tab, I went across the street to one of the other bars. It was filled with customers and women to take care of them. I had a great time. This only made Juicy Lucy look worse in comparison. One star.
