Review: True Diamonds in McKees Rocks, PA USA

True Diamonds is an interesting little strip club in the American state of Pennsylvania. Located in a metro area with a fairly highly number of strip clubs this place stands out for its seediness. Or at least that is how things appear from the outside. They may even appear that way from the inside too. Yet the reality is that this is just another club where women dance naked for money. It really is nothing more or nothing less than that.

Located on a quiet corner in a post-industrial area the club stands out. There is a big sign outside that is easy to see. Still this is clearly no Hustler Club in Vegas. It doesn’t even really compare with the bigger corporate clubs in the same vicinity. This is what some might call a hole-in-the-wall type of club. That doesn’t necessarily make it a bad place. As they say in this part of the world, “it is what it is”.

Inside True Diamonds strip club

The entrance for the club is a single door near the main street. Inside a muscled up bouncer in a tight fitting shirt takes the entrance fee. The price is $20 USD to get inside. That might seem a bit high but it does include unlimited drinks. I would imagine that is actually the main draw for at least some of the people that show up on any given night. Inside the bar is fairly small. The floor goes straight back. There is a small stage in the middle of the floor with seats all around it. There is also a very small bar area where drinks are dolled out.

A bathroom to the right is about what you would expect for a venue of this sort. At least I can say that it isn’t overly filthy or filled with any strange odors. That is a step above too many places I have been too over the years. And that is also about all there is to say about the decor here.

Dancers, prices and summary

There might be a half-dozen ladies dancing at True Diamonds on a good night. They are a mix of white and black women who seem to range in age from maybe 22 to 30 or so. None are extremely overweight or unattractive. There aren’t any women who could double for fashion models around either though. They gals are basically average looking which fits in with this sort of club. While it could be possible to spot a diamond in the rough at True Diamonds a more accurate name for the place might be Really Run of the Mill.

That is not to say the women are a put off or that they are bad at their jobs. The gals walk around in revealing lingerie or even topless. When it is their turn to dance each gets up on stage and gets fully nude. They then work their way around the stage making sure every customer in one of the stage seats gets a real close up view of them from every angles. That even includes some gynaecological shots for those who are so inclined.

The drinks are free and free flowing. The dancers don’t seem to expect more than a dollar or two from each patron as they work their way around the stage. Lap dances go for $20. They take place in a room upstairs that is open yet still somewhat private on account of the low traffic it receives. Lap dances are fully nude and very up close and personal with contact. Yet they are just dances with nothing more on offer.

True Diamonds is somewhat small, dark and dingy. It doesn’t have a ton of ladies on staff and there are no keynote porn star dancers or anything like that. It’s not a show bar type of place. But understanding all of that I can’t say there is much to complain about. A person looking to watch fully nude American women dance would find what they are looking for at True Diamonds. It fits a certain niche. Considering the place for what it is I give it two-and-a-half stars.
