Sapphire Gentlemen’s Clubs is regarding as one of the biggest strip clubs in the world. The club bills itself as being the “world’s largest gentlemen’s club”. Though I don’t know who else is contesting that claim.
Located in the heart of Sin City right on Sammy Davis Jr Drive it is at least one of the most visible and possibly visited. But quantity doesn’t mean quality.
Quantity the place does have. The building has plenty of space. The venue brings in a lot of customers. And there are a lot of women working inside. Quality of service is another question entirely. And on that Sapphire fails.
Inside Sapphire
Large and lavish or garish and gaudy? Sapphire stands somewhere between the two. It all depends on your perspective. Some may be impressed by the layout. Having been to gigantic multi-level complexes like Malioboro in Jakarta and huge saunas like Rio in Macau I was not.
Inside the place resembles some sort of nightclub with tables and chairs all around. There are televisions on the walls playing sport. The same walls sparkle with all sorts of lighting. Then there is a round stage with a pole connected to some upstairs hideaway by a staircase. And that is just the main room.
Yet just to witness this spectacle requires admission. And for those who are not local that alone costs a whopping $50 USD! Once inside a basic drink goes for $20. Things like bottle service go up from there. It’s quite possible to drop $2000 in an hour at this club and not even get a stain on your pants.
I realize that this is Las Vegas where the dollar is king. And I am surely not opposed to spending money. I have reviewed places that are quite pricey. The difference is that those places usually offered some sort of reward for the outlay. Despite everything including what the dancers elude about the private rooms this is ultimately a place where ladies dance for money. In a time where everyone has access to unlimited free porn and thousands of live cam shows in their pocket how much is that worth?
Strippers, services, and summary
On the plus side there are definitely a lot of women working at Sapphire. Even on busy nights when the place is packed out the club still seems to have at least one stripper on staff for every two people in attendance. That is quite a feat. Especially when you consider that the gals are mostly fit and attractive. There is a lot of hair color and silicone abounds. Though I doubt that many people who visit Vegas mind either.
There are literally hundreds of women working at Sapphire on a given night. The bulk of them are bleach blondes but there is at least some sort of variety. Occasionally one of them will even take their top off. Unfortunately it doesn’t matter all that much in the end. The gals mainly spend their time going from one spot to the next asking about private dances. There is little to no personal interaction at all. You might find a better conversation at a Thai go go bar where none of the dancers speak English.
What about those private dances? Starting at some $20 a minute they are pricey. Again that wouldn’t be so bad if it amounted to much. But the women at Sapphire are basically charging people to bask in their presence. This may impress some sexless guy from the middle of nowhere. For me it all just seems like a big waste of time and money. Especially in a state like Nevada where legal prostitution is just a car ride away.
I can’t say that I found much to like about Sapphire. Even with all the women inside. Don’t get me wrong. I am far from the biggest fan of American strip clubs. But I can have as much fun as the next guy in the right situation. I didn’t find that situation at Sapphire Club. So I give it a half star. That is exactly one half star less than I gave the Sapphire Club in Pattaya.

Been to this club a couple of times. It is huge, but I’ve always felt there were more, and better looking girls, at the Rhino in Vegas. At Sapphire, it was the first time a dancer wanted me to tip her just for sitting and talking with me. Told her I wasn’t even interested in her, and she got up and left in a pissed mood.
