Club Fate is a very large private gentlemen’s club in Pattaya. The place is well laid out with plenty of private seating, a pool table, and even a movie screen. There are also lots of women around to provide sexual services to customers.
As I have explained in earlier posts, Pattaya’s gentlemen’s clubs are really unique. They’re nothing like the gentlemen’s clubs you might find in another country. Basically these are closed-door girly bars where women can get really “touchy feely” with customers.
The days of the dedicated blowjob bar seem to be coming to a close in Pattaya. Nowadays the local gentlemen’s club model is on the rise. It started with a few bars then exploded. Now these kinds of places can be found all over Pattaya. And even in some nearby towns like Jomtien!
At one point I even asked if there might be too many gentlemen’s clubs in Pattaya. The answer seems to be no. Especially since new bars following this model seem to open every day. Though some of these bars are not nearly as good as others.
Club Fate gentlemen’s club
Club Fate is located at the end of a small alley off of Soi Boomerang. The location could perhaps be described as discreet. But really this is Pattaya. There are women in bikinis walking up and down the road. Discretion isn’t really an issue.
As mentioned the bar is larger than most. Or least it appears that way. The place has a sort of square open layout. This allows you to see around easier than you might in some darkly lit venues. There’s a wide variety of drinks available here too.
Videos are projected against a large wall. That’s next to a full size pool table. Billiard are free to play for customers. Though the ladies also put it to good use. So you can watch them play with each other. Sometimes in revealing clothes.
There are a good number of ladies working at Club Fate. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But overall I would describe the gals here as generally be older and of average appearance. Based on my experiences they aren’t the friendliest gals around either.
Staff, service, and summary
Don’t get me wrong. You can easily walk in to this bar and sit down with a woman or two. They’ll readily join you for a lady drink. Or even pull a curtain around the seats and blow you for 1000 Baht. I just never get the feeling that they’re very interested in the work. Or me.
Obviously they are doing a job. But part of the appeal of Thailand has always been the outwardly friendly disposition in “the land of smiles”. You can say it’s just a facade. And that may very well be true. But if so, it would surely help business to keep up appearances.
Women’s looks are only one part of the equation. Especially in a place like this. Pattaya’s gentlemen’s clubs have never been known for hiring super models or stunners. But they at least tend to have some very friendly customer oriented women on staff. I didn’t see any of that at Club Fate.
A lot of time and effort seems to have been put into the design of Club Fate. I only wish a little more energy had been put towards the staffing. A nice large bar that lacks attractive women is ultimately just a nice large bar.
Sure you can get sucked off behind a curtain here. Somewhere else in the world that might be something special. In Pattaya it can happen all over. Including places on the very same street. For that reason I can only justify giving Club Fate 1.5 stars.
