Bradley’s is a Pattaya gentlemen’s club staffed primarily by ladyboys. A woman may be found behind the bar. And a male security guard may be found at the front door. Otherwise, this is a ladyboy establishment.
Gentlemen’s clubs in Pattaya aren’t like those found in other countries. As explained in previous articles, a Pattaya gentlemen’s club is essentially a bar with a locked door that allows sensual services to be rendered on premises.
There are now numerous gentlemen’s clubs spread across Pattaya. One or two may even have a ladyboy on staff. Yet Bradley’s is the only place that is specifically a ladyboy gentlemen’s club. It’s aimed mainly at fans of the third sex.
Of course anyone of age is welcome to enter the place. And from what I have seen at least a few customers stop by simply to have a drink in what is a relatively peaceful lounge for the area.
Bradley’s ladyboy bar
Bradley’s gentlemen’s club is located on Soi Chaiyapoon. It is across the street from another longstanding venue known as The Den.
With a clearly marked entrance, the place is easy to find. It is also relatively discreet. There are no large signs outside saying “ladyboys here” or anything like that. Not that anyone would mind if they did. This is Thailand after all.
As mentioned earlier, a man stands guard at the door. He is also in charge of opening the door for you when you arrive. Inside you find a very spacious and well decorated place. In fact, this is one of the nicer bars in the area.
A standard bar is situated at the far end of the floor. A high table with stools is in the middle, with large comfortable couches on either side. Curtains can be pulled around those couches for a more intimate setting. Though the ladyboys who work here are definitely not shy. There is also a nice billiards table.
Staff, services and summary
There are maybe ten ladyboys working at Bradley’s. They seem to be in their twenties. The all look fit, with some being more feminine than others. Overall they are quite nice to those who walk through the doors. Though thankfully they do not jump all over you either.
You could easily stop in here for a drink without being bothered. Or you could take a ladyboy or two over to one of the couches for some hands on experience. From what I have seen here, both seem to be popular choices.
Prices are fair for the area. A soft drink runs just 50 Baht ($1.55 USD). A bottle of beer is 90 Baht. Lady drinks are a little more at 155 Baht. The 2 tequila option for 300 Baht gets the ladyboy of your choice into something more comfortable. And the 799 Baht ($25 USD) rack of tequila seems to get them into their birthday suits and ready to go.
You can also simply pay for some oral behind the curtain or go upstairs into a private room for short time. The fees are what you would pay in a gentlemen’s club staffed by regular Thai ladies. So it’s 800 Baht for head and 1000 Baht for full service, more or less. Just don’t forget the additional 300 Baht fee for the bar.
I am not personally attracted to ladyboys. But I am a reporter. So I went into the place seeking to review it objectively. Bradley’s is definitely a nice and comfortable bar. Prices are on par with the local industry. The staff was friendly and approachable without being pushy. I would imagine this would be a great place for those interested — or at least interested in exploring — Thai ladyboys. I give it three stars.
