Nutty Park is the second of two adult entertainment areas in Udon Thani. While Udon Thani is not a huge urban area by international standards, it is a fairly big city. Udon is one of the “big four” in the Isaan region of Thailand along with Ubon Ratchathani, Khorat and Khon Kaen.
Udon Thani is perhaps most amendable of all the Isaan cities when it comes to meeting the needs of farang and others looking for nightlife. The town is home to quite a few places that welcome foreigners with open arms including the Day and Night beer bar complex and the previously reviewed Grand Naga Hotel.
Nutty Park
Nutty Park is more of a street than a closed complex like the aforementioned Day and Night. But the street is basically just home to beer bars and restaurants. So it is just as purpose driven. Few people who are not looking to visit one of the bars would enter Nutty Park. The L-shaped street connects to Prajak Sillapakom Road near the train station, yet it doesn’t get much traffic.
While Nutty Park is just a short walk from Day and Night it has a lot less activity. There are almost as many bars in Nutty Park, but these days several of them are closed. Things could of course turn around at some point in the future. It is not uncommon for bars to open, close and change ownership from one day to the next in Thailand.
Nutty Park is a little more laid back than Day and Night Complex. But neither place is exactly a wild and out of control party. The main customer base seems to be mature farang guys, including quite a few expats who stay in town full time. At least some of the guys seem to be as interested in their beers as they are in the hostesses. That’s even more true in Nutty Park.
Ladies and prices
The first part of the street known as Nutty Park looks like any quiet alley. This is the more quiet part of the park. Around the corner there is a roof over the place that makes it look more like the kind of beer bar complex that is common in Thailand. Yet even the ladies there are generally more relaxed and friendly than many of their counterparts elsewhere in the country. As is the case across Udon they also ask for less money than many others.
Each beer bar in Nutty Park has a handful of women on staff. They range in age. Many are in their thirties and some are probably significantly older than that. Yet there are also some women around in their twenties who are at least as attractive as the average beer bar gals in Bangkok and Pattaya. I have seen some women at Nutty Park that I would describe as beautiful or sexy. But they aren’t all that common.
Drinks for customers are priced at around 80 Baht. Lady drinks are typically fifty percent more at 120 Baht. The women are not pushy for drinks in most cases, though there can always be exceptions. Some guys don’t even bother with the women at all. They just drink and maybe chat with their pals.
Yet the women at Nutty Park are working. They make some money from lady drinks. But they make more when they go with a customer. Most seem eager to do so, yet they don’t seem to get regular customers. That’s true even though the 300 Baht ($10 USD) barfines in Udon Thani are the cheapest to be found in Thailand. The ladies don’t ask for much either. Every woman is free to set her own prices, but generally speaking the gals at Nutty Park want 1000 Baht ($33 USD) for a shortime session and double that for an overnight longtime appointment. At least some of the ladies also offer oral in the washrooms though they may ask for as much as a thousand Baht for the service.

When I made my last visit there, I found a fish bowl massage spa like the ones in CM and BKK. The rates were pretty low, something like 1000 BAHT for an hour. I wasn’t sure if the tip was included. I didn’t find anyone attractive for my taste though. Cheers!
There were four in town. These days there are just two. I reviewed both on this website back in 2019. Cheers!
I didn’t know there were 4 in such a small town. I might go there someday again~~ Cheers!!
By the time I started reporting on the place there were just two. These days I am not sure how many are there. Some also report that foreigners were not allowed in many soapies in Thailand under the new conditions. Cheers.
