It’s not often I come across a new adult oriented venue that makes me sit up and take notice. After ten years of reporting on the commercial sex industry around the world it sometimes seems like I have seen it all. But every once in a while I will discover a new sort of place that demands my attention. Hot Dogs and Hot Girls in Bangkok in one such place.
The strangest thing about Hot Dogs and Hot Girls is that I honestly don’t even know what they offer. At least not in totality. I came across a video promoting the business. So I visited their website. There I found out the base service.

The basic idea is that the shop dispatches attractive women to deliver orders of hotdogs and drinks. The women spend 15 minutes with the patrons they deliver to.
My question is simple. What do they do during that fifteen minutes? It could be something as innocent as simply carrying on a conversation. A sort of “Hooters on wheels”.
But if that is indeed the case why would the company choose the URL xxxbangkok.com? And why would that website offer a number to call “if you want the girl to stay longer or want any extra services”?
You may wonder why I wouldn’t simply investigate the business further as I have with so many others in the past. The simple fact is I have tried. I have sent them a few messages. But sadly I didn’t get any reply. It could be simply a matter of missed communication. And perhaps that makes this all even more interesting!

I guess I could add a hotdog to my cart on the website and checkout just to see what happens. At just 160 Baht ($5 USD) it would be no major expense. Alas I am not in Bangkok at the moment. So that plan would not work. Back to the source!
The Hot Dogs & Hot Girls website spells out a lot. There are pictures of all the food on the menu. Even more importantly there are pictures of the women who do the delivery. Yet still much seems to go unsaid.
Perhaps that is by design. The mystery is in large part what intrigued me in the first place. Sure I was interested when I found out there was a service that had women bringing hotdogs out to guys in Bangkok. But trying to find out what else was going on is what really pulled me in. So far I haven’t really discovered anything. Yet there still seems to be enough to this story to publish an article. That probably says more about this all than I could.
On the other hand it could be exactly what it looks like. A plain old hotdog shop that just happens to employ attractive women to do deliveries. But in a country where boiled rice shops double as brothels you can never be sure.
I am curious to find out what others think about this shop. Like many of the other interesting topics I have covered over the last decade this venue doesn’t seem to be receiving much coverage. Perhaps more will catch on to the story and write about it in the future. In the meantime I am reaching out to Rockit Reports readers for your thoughts.

According to a YouTube video, the service was started by a bar in the Patpong area of Bangkok to help the bargirls make some money while the go-go bars were closed.
