As regular readers know interviews with people in the sex industry have long been a main feature of this site. I have published interviews with dozens of people from all around the world over the years. Most of the time I tracked down the people being interviewed and asked them to do a question and answer session on this site because I thought it would be interested. In some cases prospective subjects or their representatives reach out to me to do an interview. That was the case with this interview of porn producer Robert Morgan from Royal Empire Productions.
Before I was contacted to put this interview together I had not heard of Royal Empire but after checking out the site and its material I am glad that it was brought to my attention. I am sure you will be too. The official membership site for the company was launched in 2015 after the subject of this interview had already created 100 scenes on his own. It’s a real case of a regular guy taking initiative and making the kinds of movies he loved to watch.
This interview actually does not appear in my Sex Talk book, but many other interviews including several not yet published on this website do.
How old are you and where are you from?
I am 33 years old and I am from Orlando, Florida.
How did you get into porn?
I went to a class called Adult semester that helped me get into the industry. They also helped me set up shoots in the beginning as well.
When did you first see porn?
I was 12 years old when I saw my first porn.
What are the best and worst parts of your work?
The best part of my job are my interactions with the models and editing the content for my sites. The worst part is only having 24 hours in a day to do everything!
What do you think about the recent push to require condoms in porn?
I believe it’s up to the performer, it’s her or her body and they should have the right to chooses if they want to have a condom during shooting. I don’t think it should be required by law.
Have you ever had to cancel a shoot because a woman smelled bad or showed obvious signs of illness?
No, I have never have had to do that. The models I choose to work with have enough respect for themselves to keep their body clean and healthy.
How can the porn industry continue to make money with so much free porn online?
That is a good question, I think the industry has to come together has a whole to shut down the tube sites. I believe ones the tube sites are shut down the industry as a whole will start making money again. Because for a small production it’s really hard to compete with free.
How is your regular sex life now that you are involved in the porn industry? Can you still date and have relationships?
I don’t have sex outside the industry. So I will not date anyone outside the industry. I am sure I could date a non-industry girl but I chose not to.
Who are the best Male & Female porn star you’ve seen?
That’s a good question, I have always been a fan of Jada Fire. Conor Coxxx is s great male performer. Flynt Dominick Is a great male performer as well.
How is it working with Cindy Starfall? I interviewed her a while back. She is really prolific. I always see new content coming out with her in it.
Cindy Starfall is one of my good friends in this industry! She is so much fun to work with. She is very professional and gives the scene 110 percent to make it come out right. I would recommend Cindy to any producer or production company.
Which performers would you like to work with in the future?
I’d really like to work with Misty Stone and Kimberly Kendall to name two. There is so much more the list could go on and on.
Misty is popular. Another porn producer I interviewed years ago said he liked her too. What do you think about claims that society is becoming over saturated with porn?
I don’t believe that at all. I mean it’s out there but as an adult you need to set limits for yourself.
