Interview with American porn star Rod Jackson

I’m 23 years old and I’m from LA.

How did you get into porn?

I honestly got into porn using Twitter. I googled how to be a male porn star and went from there. Haha.

Do your family and friends know about your work? If so, what do they think?

My friends know about it and a lot of ’em were shocked and then others were hella curious. Haha.

It has been said that guys can’t make much money in porn. But here you are in the age of tube sites. What is the reality?

The reality is, I make enough. Haha. I’ll put it that way. I just sucked at managing it but I’m learning now. Haha. It’s enough money to get foolish with.

Are you recognized in the streets? Do fans ever contact you on social media offering sex?

I got recognized at LAX by this guy and he was kinda creepy haha. And all the time.

What advice would you have for other guys who want to get into porn? Would the advice change if it was a cousin or brother?

For any guy that wants to get in, you have to want it more than anyone else. Bring more than just dick. Be a person of substance. Companies are gonna wanna book what people wanna see. You don’t have to have the biggest dick, just have the biggest confidence (in a good way, do not be a dick head). And be respectful. Also google how to be a male porn star. That’s literally what I did.

Female porn stars can make extra money on the strip club circuit. Some even escort on the side. What options are there for male actors?

Te be honest, I’m not sure. I can’t give away all the secrets. Haha.

What’s the most important skill for a male porn star?

The most important skill or ability for a male porn star is accountability and humility. You can have a leg for a dick but if no one can count on you or you’re too prideful to take direction, you won’t last long.

Just how big is your cock? How many times can you cum in a single day? How important is all this when it comes to doing porn?
